The Widgetbox founders were brought together by a shared vision: the belief that people want to express, connect, create and inform using web widgets that can be easily shared and distributed anywhere on the web. Widgetbox was founded to help people do that by providing the largest selection of web widgets and the most comprehensive set of tools for the management and distribution of web widgets.

Will Price
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Widgetbox, Will was a Managing Director at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Will played a key role in the firm’s investments in Move Networks, Replay Solutions, Mulesource, Star Analytics, Hubpages, Widgetbox, Kwiry, Infopia and SlideRocket. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Will was a Senior Vice President with Pequot Ventures, where he focused on investments in information technology. Previously, Will served as CEO and COO of several software start-ups. He has also worked with the Boston Consulting Group, Infinity Financial Technology and Morgan Stanley. Will graduated from Harvard College and earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where he graduated at the top of his class.
Giles Goodwin
Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Giles Goodwin has over 10 years experience building innovative software products. Prior to co-founding Widgetbox, Giles Goodwin was Chief Portal Suite Architect and Director of Engineering at Vignette, a content management company, with responsibility for the management and development of composite application and web services technology. Prior to his role at Vignette, Giles was Director of Engineering at Epicentric which was acquired by Vignette. Prior to this, Giles was lead developer and architect at Application Park, an online web application builder and portal company which was acquired by Epicentric. Giles holds a BS in Physics from the University of California at Riverside.
Dean Moses
Co-founder and Chief Architect
Dean Moses has been a software architect and usability expert for over 10 years. Prior to co-founding Widgetbox in early 2006, Dean was at Epicentric, a leading vendor of enterprise portal solutions, for six years joining as its first employee and Chief Architect. After the acquisition of Epicentric by Vignette, a content management company, Dean remained at Vignette as Chief Architect. Prior to his work at Epicentric, Dean was Chief Architect at MethodCraft, a business software company and served as Principal Architect at Advent Software, a financial software company, as well as an architect and engineer at HotWired. Dean holds a BS in Computer Science and a BA in English from Louisiana State University.
Pam Webber
Vice President of Product and Marketing
Pam Webber has over 10 years of experience in marketing and strategy of consumer products and services. Prior to her position as Vice President of Marketing at Widgetbox, Pam spent seven years at eBay most recently as Director of Consumer Marketing for eBay’s subsidiary PayPal. At PayPal, Pam was charged with developing marketing strategy and programs for PayPal’s consumer businesses including eBay North America, PayPal Financial Products, and PayPal Mobile. Pam also worked for Borden, Inc. as a Corporate Strategy Associate in Columbus, Ohio and as an Investment Banking Analyst for Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette in New York City. Pam holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Tracy Pizzo
Director of Business Development
Tracy Pizzo comes to Widgetbox with 8 years of general management and business development experience. Prior to business school, she was Executive Director of two not-for-profit organizations where she oversaw all operations including vision, fundraising, management, and program development. Tracy has also spent time working for The Center on Ecotourism and Sustainable Development, a joint program between Stanford University and The Institute for Policy Studies. She also worked for Legacy Venture, a philanthropy fund-of-funds investing in premier venture capital funds, and as a teacher at the Westtown School. Tracy holds a BA in Women’s Studies and Psychology, magna cum laude, from Harvard University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jim Goetz
Board Member
Jim Goetz focuses on systems and software investments at Sequoia Capital. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2004, Jim served as a General Partner at Accel Partners where he led the investments in Entrisphere (ERIC), Peribit (JNPR), RGB, and Rhapsody (BRCD) and was part of the team responsible for BroadJump (MOTV), Timetra (ALA) and Topspin (CSCO). Earlier, Jim was a Founder of VitalSigns (LU) where he went on to serve as VP/GM of the VitalSoft division of Lucent. Prior to VitalSigns, Jim was the Vice President of Network Management for Bay Networks. Prior to Bay and Synoptics, he held various product and marketing positions at AT&T, AT&T Bell Labs, and Digital Equipment. Jim has a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Mitchell Kertzman
Board Member
Mitchell Kertzman is a Partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. He has over 30 years of experience as a CEO of public and private software companies. Most recently, Mitchell was Chairman and CEO of Liberate Technologies, a provider of platform software for the delivery of digital services by cable television companies. Before joining Liberate, he was chairman of the board and CEO of Sybase, Inc. Mitchell was founder and CEO of Powersoft, which merged with Sybase in February 1995. A former programmer, Mitchell founded Powersoft in 1974 as Computer Solutions. He renamed the company and became a member of the Hummer Winblad family in 1991 when Hummer Winblad invested in the company, which became the leading provider of client-server development tools with its flagship product, PowerBuilder. The merger with Sybase in 1995 was, at the time, the most valuable in the history of the software industry. Mitchell served as President of the Massachusetts Software Council from 1994 to 1996 and was 1990 chairman of the American Electronics Association. He is founder and former chairman of the Massachusetts Institute for a New Commonwealth (MassINC), a think tank focused on issues related to the standard of living and quality of life of America’s middle class. He served on the New York State Commission on Industrial Competitiveness and chaired its task force on industrial policy. Mitchell was awarded an honorary doctorate of humane letters from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He currently sits on the Boards of Bridgestream, Sapias, Five9, ActiveGrid, Palamida, Widgetbox, and HubPages.
Michael Dearing
Independent Board Member
Michael Dearing is a Consulting Associate Professor at Stanford University where he co-developed and co-taught courses including Creating Infectious Action and Creating Mass Market Experiences. Before joining Stanford in 2006, Michael spent nearly seven years at eBay serving most recently as Senior Vice President & General Merchandise Manager for eBay North America. In that role, Michael led category management, product marketing, seller development, eBay Stores, and direct-to-consumer marketing. Prior to eBay, Michael held leadership positions at Bain & Company, Filene’s Basement, The Walt Disney Company, and Industrial Shoe Warehouse. Michael holds an AB in Economics from Brown University and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
