*The following terms and conditions apply:

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open to legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants must be physically located in the United States. The Entry Period begins on March 18, 2008 12:00am PDT and ends on April 11, 2008 11:59pm PDT. One entry per widget made during the Entry Period. Additional entries for each subscription earned during the Entry Period. Void where prohibited. All entries will be included in the random drawing on or about April 30th, 2008. Entrants are responsible for keeping the e-mail address used for entry valid until after the drawing has been conducted to remain eligible to win. Entry is deemed made by the holder of the e-mail account, which Sponsor shall determine in its sole discretion in the event of dispute.
2. TO ENTER: Participants must create a Flash, HTML/JS, or web page widget on www.widgetbox.com that meets the criteria of Widgetbox’s Widget Publishing Criteria at http://docs.widgetbox.com/developers/criteria/ to be automatically entered into the sweepstakes. One entry per widget made during the Entry Period. Additional entries are earned for each subscription earned during the Entry Period. If you do not have a Widgetbox account or want to enter the sweepstakes via mail, hand print your name, complete address, city, state, ZIP code, telephone number (including area code) and email address on a plain 3" X 5" postcard and mail your entry in a hand-addressed stamped envelope postmarked during the Entry Period and received by Sponsor on or before April 11, 2008, to: Widgetbox 2008 Widget Madness Sweepstakes Entry, Attn: Marketing Department, 1000 Sansome St., Suite 250, San Francisco, CA 94111. No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will be accepted. All sweepstakes entries become the property of Sponsor. All online entries (widgets) and mail entries must be completed and received by 11:59 PM PDT on April 11, 2008. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the sweepstakes. A random drawing will be held on or about April 30, 2008.
3. CONDITIONS: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incorrect or inaccurate synching or entry information whether caused by the website, its users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should a computer virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the sweepstakes. Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. PRIZES: One Apple MacBook Air 1.6 GHz (ARV $1800). Winner will be responsible for any activation fees, service fees and agreements, or required accessories related to the prize. One winner will be selected in a random drawing from all qualified entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail. Winner is required to respond with a complete notification e-mail within 5 calendar days of notification date on the e-mail or an alternate winner will be selected. The confirmed winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility as a condition of receiving the prize. Prize is not transferable. No prize substitutions. Odds of winning based on the number of entries received. Actual model, color, accessories and features of the MacBook Air awarded will be selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion and may vary from photos in promotional materials. Drawing will be conducted by Widgetbox, Inc. whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Prize will be distributed within 6-8 weeks of the winner being confirmed.
5. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Employees of Widgetbox, Inc., sponsors, its agencies, distributors, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated companies, participating advertisers and media, employees, their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Immediate family member is defined as husband, wife, children, mother, father, sister, sister in-law, brother or brother in-law. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Entry into this promotion constitutes permission to Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner’s name, address and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor collects personal information from entrants when they enter this sweepstakes and reserves the right to use entrants’ personal information in accordance with its privacy policy, which should be reviewed at http://docs.widgetbox.com/about/privacy-policy/. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its agencies, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors and officers from injury, death, loss or other liability that may arise from the acceptance or use of any prize or their participation in this promotion or this sweepstakes. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners will be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability. This sweepstakes and the rights and obligations of Sponsor and participants will be governed by and controlled by the laws of the State of California. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of California, San Francisco County.
6. WINNER’S LIST: The name of the prize winner can be found by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Widgetbox 2008 Widget Madness Sweepstakes, Attn: Marketing Department, 1000 Sansome St, Suite 250, San Francisco, CA 94111. Requests must be postmarked by April 30, 2008. The winners list will be completed after the prize winners are confirmed.
